About Comet Moth

Comet Moth (彗星虫/Suisei Mushi, lit. "Comet Insect") is an artist based in Japan. She began work under the handle @Raspberrytea_ on Twitter in 2015, and was known as Kapura (infrequently, Gloomy Goat) until recently. Now rebranded, she continues to create in a variety of digital and physical mediums.

Her works can include sensitive topics and imagery that may not be suitable for all audiences. Importantly however, her pieces are often an outlet of self-expression and commentary; violence or any other depicted themes are not to be interpreted as endorsement of such acts or topics.

Comet Moth has collaborated with other artists and galleries. Notable recent collaborations include her participation in Atelier Sangatsu, and her contribution of cover artwork for the song "From a Place of Love" by Mili and "The Rogue and the Beast" by HaTa. Commissions and other professional collaborations are welcome, and inquiries for such may be done via skeb or email respectively.
